Dude Where’s My Music, an intelligent documentary directed by Ravi Parsan has been described by many as a Hard Rock ‘Super Size Me’. The film starts with an introduction by Parsan going on to explore the homogeny on the mainstream music industry. Featuring commentary by some of the industry’s biggest talents : Radiohead, Slash, Rush, Slayer, Henry Rollins, Steve Albini, Anvil, Matthew Wright, Harvey Goldsmith and many others, the film really speaks from the people that make the music and are directly involved with the industry. The film is fast, funny, energetic, edgy and provides plenty food for thought.
Ravi was recently chosen as one of Metal Hammer’s Defender Of The Faith and Dude! Where’s My Music? has been featured in the Sony Producer Magazine.
One of the film’s supporters is Jon Morter – the man behind ‘Rage Against The Machine UK Xmas #1 Campaign – his Facebook amounts to 1.2 Million with Jon now working in social media marketing.
Ingenious Media stated the film has having ‘strong commercial potential’. With this in mind Parsan recently attended the Cannes Film Festival and managed to procure interest in the project from various film sales agents and distributors.
